Holy Caleb: The first thing is this: what is a spy?

Chukwudi: A spy is somebody who shall go to find out the true realities. He goes to survey a city or place, so that the method of operation can be determined.

Holy Caleb: Is it always?

Chukwudi: Yes, whenever they have to carry out operations.

Number 1, spying did not start here with Ai.

Number 2, it is not everybody that is made a spy.

Number 3, sending spy to a place is good, depending on how the person shall go and what was heard about the city or place.

But son of man, if God says that we should go to spy a place, we go. And if God said that we should go and spy, we cannot do so by our own power or ability.

The reason why we do send the spy is because we do not completely know all about a city. The spy will go, and by so doing, know various things. They shall find out how the people live and their characters. They shall also find out whether the people or enemies are ready and prepared for war. That is number 1.

Number 2, the reason why a spy is sent out, is because the spy will be the first person to enter the city. If ourselves go there as group or many people, the people being spied will know. But if a spy goes alone, the people being spied will not know, because the people will not notice his presence. The spy will come back and tell us all that are happening in the city or place.

The cause of the anger and wrath of God was not only what Achan did. The Israelites became over greedy. Some of them started to go out of line – to disobey the word of God, doing as they liked.

Son of man, how did the Israelites go out of line?

On many occasions, they were performing many things in disobedience.

Son of man, how?

They were doing things that were out of line.

One, they were not respecting God as they should.

Two, all the laws and rites of holiness which God commanded them to keep, they kept none. But they were doing such bad things in secret, in secret, in secret, because they thought in their hearts that Holy Joshua De Conqueror will not see them.

But does that mean that God was not seeing them?

God was seeing them.

Three, son of man, all the stolen gold and things in Ai, where did the gold come from?

The gold was from Jericho.

That was why Achan was removed from the midst of the Israelites, killed.

Jericho And Ai

The cities of Jericho and Ai were neighbouring cities. But distance was very long, from Jericho to Ai. The people of Jericho were brethren to the people of Ai. And the people of Ai were from the genealogy, descendants of Jericho. The two sets of people were one people, but they were located in separate ciites.

You hear about the twelve tribes from Israel?

All of the twelve tribes are one. Even so were the people of Jericho and Ai.

Widespread Fears

When God used Holy Joshua De Conqueror to pull down the city of Jericho, the people of Ai heard about it. The Canaanites heard it. And all the cities surrounding Jericho heard it. Many of these people started to fear the Israelites. Many of them were gripped by fear, because of Holy Joshua De Conqueror.

What brought about the war between the Israelites and Ai?

Did the war just started?

What brought about it?

Holy Joshua De Conqueror did not just ask Israelites to spy Ai.

What was the cause?

How did the war started?

You have to ask questions, because we, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, want the children of God to be asking questions.

What caused the war?

Number 1, the peoples of various nations were hearing about the Israelites. They did not want the Israelites to spread, to grow in population or develop as a nation.

They wanted to use underground manipulations to uproot, remove, the Israelites.

Number 2, they were overwhelmed by fear. Then, we were small in population, and despite our small size, God was using us, the Israelites, to perform great and awesome victories, signs and wonders. That means that if ourselves grow in population and spread to all the ends of the earth, no other nation can plunge their finger into our eyes – none can challenge, confront or oppose the Israelites.

Number 3, various kings from the diverse nations around Jericho held meeting, and planned among themselves, on how to pull down the Israelites. And the people of Ai sent message to Holy Joshua De Conqueror, asking for peace between Joshua, Israelites and the people of Ai. Before they sent the message, themselves were ready and prepared for war, because they knew that Holy Joshua De Conqueror would not agree to their request.

Necessary Considerations

Son of man, what type of peace did they want?

Number 1, if somebody come to you and ask you to do something for him, will you not take time to think about that?

You have to consider, what are the characters of the person making the request?

Is the request his true intention?

Number 2, the people of Jericho and Ai were the same, because they were worshipping idols.

Number 3, they were coming to join the Israelites to form one nation.

Number 4, Holy Joshua De Conqueror thought as follows: the people of Ai heard how we pulled down Jericho.

Do you think that they were happy and pleased with the Israelites?

Do you think that they were happy that we pulled done their brethren?

Number 5, ourselves were worshipping God, but themselves were worshipping idol.

What is the association between light and darkness?

None.

Number 6, they have heard about the Israelites, when we came out of the land of Egypt, and heard the various victories, signs and wonders, which God used the Israelites to perform, through Holy Joshua De Conqueror.

Number 7, they wanted the power and authority of the Israelites to cease.

Number 8, if they made peace with ourselves, in some years time, in the future, they shall conquer the Israelites and ourselves shall be subject to them – the Israelites shall be under their control, manipulations and leadership. And themselves shall be people ruling over the Israelites.

Number 9, what they were doing was just pretense before the Israelites and Holy Joshua De Conqueror. By the time Holy Joshua De Conqueror and his contemporary Israelites are no longer alive here on earth, our children and children's children shall become slaves to the people of Ai.

Number 10, this idea of making peace was what they discussed and planned in a meeting of all the kings of the cities, neighbouring Jericho. And so, they started with Ai to meet Holy Joshua De Conqueror to ask for peace.

The above points were the reasons why when they brought the request for peace making. Therefore, Holy Joshua De Conqueror sent out spies to the city of Ai, to verify whether what the people of Ai were saying was true or not.

Spies Sent Out

Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, "Go up and spy out the country." So the men went up and spied out Ai. And they returned to Joshua and said to him, "Do not let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and attack Ai. Do not weary all the people there, for the people of Ai are few." Joshua 7:2,3

Shocking Discoveries

The spies went as they were directed by Holy Joshua De Conqueror. But the spies have not yet got to Ai, when they saw soldiers in various formations and in different locations, with weapons to fight against the Israelites. Their request for peace making was not their true intentions. They had wicked plans against the Israelites.

Why was the Israelites the first to attack the city of Ai?

We had to attack first, because they were not telling us the truth, and they were ready and prepared to attack the Israelites.

When the spies came to Holy Joshua De Conqueror, their mouths were full of words. They had many things to say about the people of Ai and their wicked plans against the people of Israel. The people of Ai were working underground against the Israelites. They had a hidden agenda to pull down the people of Israel, as planned by various nations around Jericho.

Israel Was A Disobedient Nation

But the Israelites, whom God wanted to save were not watchful. Many of them wanted to turn their back on God. And they were behaving in various bad ways, which ourselves, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, are still seeing in the midst of the Biafrans today. Your enemies are killing you Biafrans, even in those places that you have victory. That is why God is keeping quiet regarding you Biafrans and Biafra independence, just as He was silent unto the Israelites then.

Son of man, it was when the Israelites started moving backwards from God, that was when fear overtook the Israelites. A person, who comes close to God, who stays in the presence of God, there is no iota of fear in that person. The eyes of God are on him - His protection is always perfect for the person - who comes to the presence of God, and keeps the laws and rites of holiness of God.

But as far as the person is moving away from the laws of God, by not keeping His laws, the eyes of God also move away from the person. The person loses the strong and perfect protection of God. That is the time you shall see brave and mighty men of valour speaking like babies who do not know how to speak.

But yourself wills see a young man, who stays close to God Almighty, how such a person speaks like a strong and mighty man.

Is it true?

Chukwudi: Yes, my Lord. It is true.

The weakness of the Israelites showed that they were backsliding, disobeying God and committing sins against Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts. That was when the anger and wrath of God fell upon the Israelites. The bible authors wrote that the anger and wrath of God were upon the Israelites.

Chukwudi: Yes.

Signs Of Anger And Wrath Of God

How?

To the extent that the Israelites knew?

Number 1, the thirty-six (36) men that were killed were a sign to the Israelites that the anger and wrath of God was upon them, before God struck them the last time.

Do you not know that before God would pour His anger and wrath of God upon the Israelites, He would first give them a sign?

For the Israelites to understand and repent.

Number 1, there was death, and that was shameful death.

Number 2, the crops planted in the farms were not yielding very well.

Number 3, all the offerings and sacrifices, brought before God, God was not accepting but rejecting the sacrifices. These were signs.

Number 4, the Israelites were encountering various great sufferings, and there was confusion. The Israelites did not know what was happening to them. They did not know that many Israelites were already out of line – no longer keeping the laws and rites of holiness of God.

Number 5, whenever the Israelites brought gifts and offerings to God, the Holy Spirit rejected it. But the Israelites were not asking themselves questions.

What have we done wrong?

They thought that what was happening to them were just the way God wanted it. God was giving them signs, perfect signs, for the Israelites to know that they were moving out of line. That was why God used the people of Ai to remove those Israelites who were provoking His anger and wrath, from the midst of the Israelites. They died from the ambush by the people of Ai.

Disobedient Elders And Their Families

Son of man, who were the elders of Israel?

Was it because of the Joshua or the elders that God spoke?

Many of the elders were out of line – disobedient to God.

How?

In their various families, in which the elders were the heads, we had to find out whether they were doing things pleasing to God or provoking to God.

Son of man, they were provoking the anger and wrath of God. It was only by the mercy of God that they understood. God had anointed them as elders. But the reason why God answered the prayers of the Israelites was because of Holy Joshua De Conqueror, who was a saint. He was observing the rites of holiness and keeping all the laws of God from time to time, just as Holy Moses told him.

But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things. And many others disobeyed God in various ways. Therefore, the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Israel. Joshua 7:1

Revelations And Confirmations By Angels

Son of man, the Angels came and told Holy Joshua De Conqueror that the request for peace was not true. And the Angels presented messages and teachings in sequence to Holy Joshua De Conqueror, and he knew.

And God told Holy Joshua De Conqueror to remove all the people who were breaking the laws and rites of holiness of God, from the midst of the Israelites.
