Judas Iscariot

Was A Disciple

But Not An Apostle

By

Apostle James De Zealot

Explanations

Apostle James: Yourselves know that Judas Iscariot was among the twelve selected by Jesus Christ?

The Head: Some people say he was among, while other people say that he was not among. But in the Yahweh’s Book Of Life, we do not count him as one of the Apostles, because he did not do the work of the Apostle. It is the confirmed Apostles that are recognized as Apostles.

It is like a child who goes to a school to register as a student. Then, he goes home, does not attend school, does not do assignments and homeworks, does not do tests and does not undertake the examinations. He is registered as a student of the school, but he is not a graduate of the school.

Apostle James: That is true.

The Head: That is why we removed him from the Apostles.

Apostle James: Son of man, let ourselves make it clear. When Jesus Christ selected the twelve, He selected Judas Iscariot. But Judas did not do his work to the end.

Other Judases

Apostle James: Judas was among us. But there was also Judas Iscariot. Just as there were several Marys, but the Marys were different from one another. Even in this age, ten different persons can answer one name. You may see a person answering your name, but the person is not yourself. That is the point we want to make clear, to remove unnecessary confusions.

The Head: Thanks be to God.

Why The Apostles Cursed Judas Iscariot

Apostle James: Son of man, when the twelve were moving, one of them hit his feet against an obstacle - Judas Iscariot fell into temptation and betrayed Jesus Christ – he was cursed.

Do you people not know that as Jesus Christ was crucified through Judas Iscariot, that the Apostles cursed Judas Iscariot?

Apostle James: We know.

Why The Curse Failed

Apostle James: Judas was Iscariot cursed, when we found out what happened, just as Jacob cursed two of his sons, Simon and Levi.

The Head: But the curse was not effective, because Jacob did not know that it was an Angel that sent them to kill the people of Shechem. What the two did was what the Angel asked them to do.

Apostle James: Even so it was with Judas Iscariot.

Son of man, on many occasions, Jesus Christ was saying, “Time is coming when the son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of the people who shall kill him.” Ourselves were saying, “God forbid!” many of us were making various promises – were saying, speaking like a strong man, that we shall not allow it – until the time it came to fulfilment.

Judas Iscariot was among the people shouting, removing and cancelling the betrayal and death of Jesus Christ.

But how come he turned and fell a victim?

That is why ourselves said he was a hypocrite. He was among us eating and drinking with us.

Is it true or false?

The Head: It is true.

Apostle James: And himself was doing what?

The Head: He was also following the chief priests, elders and rulers of the synagogue.

Apostle James: If it were to be said, Judas Iscariot was among the assassins.

The Head: That is true.

Apostle James: That was why we gathered together and cursed him. And after cursing him, the Holy Spirit sent a message and asked us to do prayers, because He will send somebody who shall take the place of Judas Iscariot. The person was Apostle Matthias.

Judas Iscariot Now In Heaven

Apostle James: Son of man, what happened to the curse on Judas Iscariot, that he was able to enter heaven?

The Head: When the Twelve Apostles entered heaven, they discovered that Judas Iscariot did what he was sent, destined, to do on earth. The only problem or mistake was that he did not do his work the way the Holy Spirit directed the betrayal.

Apostle James: Yourself answered very well.

And you DivineBase congregation did spiritual works about it?

The Head: Yes.

Apostle James: The work you people did, you people did it very well.

Among Mates

Apostle James: Son of man, if you people were two, and one makes mistake, when you people come up to heaven, the perfect one does not change to save the imperfect one.

What do I mean?

When we came up to heaven, truly, truly and truly, the Holy Spirit made all things about Jesus Christ and His betrayal clear to us. But ourselves did not come back to save Judas Iscariot. Judas Iscariot had to make effort on his own behalf. That is why ourselves said that the DivineBase congregation did very well.
