Faith
Faith is the knowledge of the Truth and abiding in the Truth. Any belief not based on Truth is nothing but blind faith. As such, it is not faith, however well we believe or practise it. It is regrettable that today, many of the beliefs are just false beliefs, which keep multitudes stagnant on the ladder of the spiritual growth. That is why science and technology have developed, without a corresponding growth in spiritual maturity. Many would abandon their everyday pursuit, if their spiritual eyes were to be opened for them to see and understand spirituality. Why some shall be lucky to ascend spiritually, majority may find it too late to do so.
Faithlessness means believing what is false, and acting according to it. Any of the following is a sign of faithlessness.
  1. Refusal of divine messages such as prophecy, dream, vision, trance, etc.
  2. Indeed, it is a mark of dead faith to say or believe that God does not talk to His people.
  3. Refusal to accept divine guidance.
  4. Believing that things will not get better.
  5. Avoiding opportunities to help other people, irrespective of age, sex, tribe, religion, etc.
  6. Fearfulness. Fear is man-made, and it is a sin.
  7. Hypocrisy: intending one thing, saying another thing, and yet doing a different thing.
  8. Believing that God does not exist.
  9. Believing that there is no spiritual side of life.
  10. Believing that death is the end of life, and that birth is the beginning of life.
  11. Not to investigate and confirm what a person believes
  12. To accept what is said by influential people or those in positions of authorities, if what they say is evil or against the Truth.
  13. To support your parents, friends or relations when they are wrong.
  14. Selfishness.
  15. To depend on man, instead of depending on God. Many are faithless when they give bribe, encourage nepotism, favouritism, etc.
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

To sit down for few minutes, in silence, and then read the above portion of the scripture is a very good spiritual practice. Do so, just before you leave for work in the morning. You can do so in your bedroom or inside the living room (parlour).
